Job Description

To conceptualize and create meme-driven content that drives engagement, virality, and brand relevance across social media platforms. The Meme Expert will turn briefs into trend-led, thumb-stopping creatives that align with both brand tonality and audience humor.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks:

Create original meme content for client campaigns
Interpret briefs and turn them into meme-first ideas that resonate with Gen Z and millennial audiences
Monitor internet trends, pop culture, and viral formats across Instagram, Reddit, X, and YouTube
Work closely with strategists and designers to convert ideas into final creative assets (static/video)
Collaborate with outreach and campaign teams to ensure meme formats suit platform and audience
Repurpose brand messaging in witty, humorous, or satirical tones for meme pages and influencers
Suggest timely topical content for real-time trendjacking during key events (e.g., IPL, elections, etc.)
Maintain a bank of meme formats, idea templates, and reference styles for internal use
Ensure that meme content is brand-safe, original, and aligned with campaign objectives

Skills we're looking for:

Understanding of meme culture, internet behavior, and creator trends
Excellent sense of humor, cultural sensitivity, and timing
Good copywriting skills (short-form, meme text, captions, etc.)
Basic understanding of social media platforms and meme page dynamics
Prior experience working with brands or meme pages (preferred, not mandatory)
Ability to adapt tone depending on brand voice (from edgy to corporate-safe)
